An experience to offer or treat yourself...in Périgord Vert!
 
The activity begins around a delicious snack with homemade cakes and local products, during which we present the horse species from prehistory to the present day, the reality of its needs and its relationship with man since its domestication.
 
We approach the science of animal behavior with humans, another look at the human-horse relationship than that observed in equestrian centers.
 
The horse's senses are explored in detail in order to approach it not only respectfully but also in complete safety, and then we go to meet the Arabian horses from the breeding farm, living freely in natural conditions and in different groups: the nursery, the harem, the bachelorlor's group..
 
Living among Bedouin horses is an experience comparable to swimming with dolphins.

Laurence Of Arabians is the name I chose for my breeding of purebred Bedouin Arabian bloodlines, as a nod to my childhood nickname, Laurence of Arabia!
 
Always fascinated by horses but empathetic to their fear and suffering, I rarely adhered to horse riding as it was offered to me. I have spent over 15 years exploring other approaches, studying their meanings, understanding their needs and working to develop ethical relationships rather than dominating through coercion.
 
I want to share these discoveries and knowledge out of respect. I welcome you in the family kitchen of the Grande Maison, a large Périgord building in the center of the 40 hectares of the estate, where we also welcome our guests in our BnB "Les Deux Abbesses en Vert".
 
In summer, I receive you in the Little House at the entrance, our house being then offered as a gîte. Once the snack has been tasted, we set off into the different meadows to meet the horses: the nursery, the harem...
 
The visit is limited to 6/8 people.
